Peach (they/them) is a recovering alcoholic and addict who has ADHD. Peach and her husband decided to get sober because it would help them perform better at work. Peach began to have trouble focusing and decided to be evaluated for ADHD. It wasn’t an easy path to ADHD diagnosis. Peach was afraid that doctors would think they were drug-seekers and asked, “How can you explain how debilitating it is?”
