Rebecca Phillips Epstein has ADHD. As with many high-achieving girls her symptoms were not noticed until very early. Then, during the pandemic it clicked. She found a Twitter thread that discussed people who shame themselves for being lazy, even though they aren’t.

Rebecca was always aware of her problems — procrastination and being late. She also has a million great ideas that never get completed. She was a screenwriter and essayist so she would overcompensate to no one. She’d overcompensate as a screenwriter and essayist, so no one would be the wiser.
