In this episode, I want to talk about the power of acceptance and its role in OCD & Anxiety recovery. The reason we have difficulty with acceptance is that we are often clinging to something. Oftentimes we are clinging to an idea of a past or future that we would prefer.

So the first step of acceptance is letting go of our attachment to the alternative. Only then, can we begin to move towards and accept reality as it is. This enables us to have a much more harmonious relationship with life as we lay down the struggle of fighting and resisting the challenging moments in life.
