*CORRECTION NOTICEAt 1: 15 I noted that in 1960 it was reported a racemic mixture of amphetamine could be used to control ADHD symptoms. This is true, however I then said it was approved by the FDA for the treatment of ADHD in 1996. Amphetamine was approved for the treatment of ADHD in 1996. however it was approved as a 3:1 ratio of the d and l isomers respectively (as I explain at 3: 15 in the video) and not the racemic mixture used in the 1960 study.
