How Vision Therapy Helps Kids with ADHD Focus and Learn

ADHD symptoms can make it hard to see what is truly going on with our kiddos. Vision problems are often the root cause of ADHD symptoms such as being distracted or unable to learn and read.

Veronica speaks with Dr. Laura Knapp (a Behavioral Optometrist) about her work with children to improve their vision skills. Dr. Knapp holds a Doctorate of Optometry. She is passionate about helping children with learning-related vision problems.

Dr. Knapp teaches us that vision is much more than 20/20 and impacts all of a persons’ processing skills and motor functions. ADHD children have a harder time processing and retaining information, especially in classrooms.

Vision therapy can help you address all these issues.
– Reduce the symptoms that make focus difficult (headaches, vision tracking, reading comprehension)
– Improve neurological aspects of focus, motor skills, and proprioception
You can help your kiddo be more in control and less frustrated
